Women's Retreat

Ladies, prepare your hearts for a wonderful weekend with the Lord as Calvary Chapel Tallahassee hosts its next Women's Retreat on October 22-23, 2010 with special guest speaker Sandy MacIntosh. You may Register Online or in the church lobby after services. Stop by the Women's Table for more information.

2011 Israel Trip

"I AM who I AM"

Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:13-14

Most of us have heard this story before, whether it was in Sunday school, on television, or even is Disney’s The Prince of Egypt. Moses is having his first encounter with the Almighty God through a burning bush. God has just charged him with an impossible task that he knows without a doubt is too big to do on his own. He reluctantly accepts the challenge and then asks God a simple question, “Who should I say sent me?” In other words, “How am I supposed to define you? I can’t just say a burning bush sent me.” God’s answer is simple yet profound; “I AM who I AM.”
